Woohoo!!

It’s the weekend everyone, I hope that you’ve all had a tremendous week!

I’ve had a decent week to be fair, I have been going out for daily walks, just so that I can enjoy the fresh air, I’ve also been doing some bits of Christmas Wrapping (which is early for me).

Finally, I’ve been concentrating on my blog and bringing it back up to scratch, and I am hoping that you as my followers are enjoying all of my content.

I am really looking to bringing you this post, which is on an outstanding whisky called: Tomatin 2009 Aged 10 Years!

Happy Hump Day all, I really hope you are having a fantastic week so far!

As you would have more than likely seen in my last post, I actually relaunched my blog! It’s been a while since I’ve done some blogging and to be truthfully honest I’ve really missed it.

My last post was on the most fruitiest IPAs, I have ever sampled, Elvis Juice which is proudly brewed by The Brewdog Brewing Company.

Hello everyone, I am proud to say The Cask Connoisseur is back for good, I have taken a couple of months off blogging, this was purely my own choice.

However, I am now ready to strike back and bring my blog page back up to scratch once again, I have missed it, and I have dearly missed you all.

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since my last post, I am trying to provide content for you all as best as possible, it has been difficult at times, but I am here today with a fresh and brand new post.

Before we start though, I want to question to you all, on how well you’ve all been keeping, there are still challenges going on, and we all have to admit its been a difficult year, but we all have to keep going and remain positive.

I have found though some slightly different techniques to deliver some of my beer posts, originally, I would sample beers at a variety of different pubs and provide content on each.

Hello September, how are we today?

The British Summer is sadly nearly over!

This also means, that the seasonal change for beer is happening, we are having to say a farewell to the glorious fruity/sweet light beers, and now say hello to the warming and delicious dark beers, my personal favourite are the stouts.

I adore a stout in the winter, the main reason is that I can enjoy a gorgeous pint of beer whilst relaxing in front of the fire watching a classical Christmas film, I know its only September but December will be here before you know it, I’m sorry to say that.

I am just ready to put my feet up on the safe and just chill, I am hoping to get out on my bike as well and cycle some miles!

Oakham Ales Brewery

Happy Monday Morning to all of my fantastic followers, I hope you’ve all had a tremendous weekend with whatever you’ve been doing!

I must admit I’ve had an amazing weekend, me and Isobel spent yesterday at Calke Abbey which is formed part of the National Trust charity!

It was amazing, we are both feeling tired now after doing loads of walking, but after 5 months of struggling to see each other, it was a lovely feeling to be reunited again.

Happy Friday to you all, another week has swiftly gone by and we can proudly say it’s nearly the weekend!

However, I am also feeling sad but relieved at the same time as I was meant to be going on holiday in a weeks time to Spain, but because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, our holiday has sadly been cancelled.

I am as I said relieved because I don’t feel safe enough going abroad especially that the virus is still around hopefully next year I might be able to plan something if it’s safe!
