Modwena Oatmeal Stout – 4.8ABV

Good morning to you all, I really hope you are all having a fantastic week so far, my week has been absolutely fantastic so far, I’ve been doing daily walks around my local park, I’ve set myself my own personal goal and in fairness, I am achieving it so far which I’m really proud of.

Secondly, the weekend just gone, I reached my first milestone on Instagram of reaching 500 followers, I am totally over the moon and really happy that everyone is enjoying my daily content, I personally want to say a massive thank you to all of you for your support, I really appreciate it! My next goal is to aim for 1’000 followers and they may be a potential gift up for grabs!

The Bounder – 4.0% ABV

Hello to you all, I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week with whatever you’ve all been doing, it’s now time to wound down and relax for the weekend!

In this weeks topic, I have produced two beer review posts brought to you from The Leatherbritches Brewery, in my previous post I did a write-up on one of the most astonishing best bitters that I have ever sampled and that beer was called Ashbourne Ale!

I briefly mentioned how the brewery named this iconic beer after the gorgeous market town based in the Derbyshire Dales which is an area surrounded by natural beauty.

Ashbourne Ale 4.0% ABV

January, it certainly did feel like a very long month, I am thankful that the first month of 2021 is over and I am now looking forward to seeing what February has to bring. 

In brief, this is what I am hoping to achieve throughout the shortest month of the year!

Firstly, I am deeply excited and looking forward to sampling some more wonderful beers and whiskies, especially a selected handful that I’ve never tasted before, in my mind, it’s all about experimenting new flavours through the palate. 

Secondly, to help and boost The Cask Connoisseur, I am going to be running a selection of adverts on my social media platforms, the reason for this is because I want to get my name out into the world, I want bloggers and people to know why I am passionate about The UK’s Brewing and Whisky Industry.

Czar’s P2 Imperial Stout – 8.0% ABV

In my previous post, I brought you all an in-depth review of an amazing beer called Masterpiece IPA, which is proudly brewed by The Heritage Brewing Company. 

Throughout my post, I mentioned how this flagship beer had a connecting link with one of Burton’s Brewing Heritage icons, Worthington Whiteshield.

Masterpiece IPA 5.6% ABV

Burton Upon Trent, my hometown, the place where the magic happens, a town where the air smells of malted barley, a famous location where beer is brewed, this is Burton the Brewing Capital Of The World!

Beer is so big in Burton, we are so proud to have some of the finest microbreweries in the country which play there part to deliver Burton’s Brewing Heritage!

When you’re out and about, any of the pubs that you venture into will always be packed full of locals drinking there favourite locally brewed beer, whether it’s Bass, Pedigree, Burton Bridge Bitter, you name it anything, the locals love to drink something which is close to their heart and town!

Sparks Fly Up 6.0% ABV

Hello to you all, the weekend has come round once again, its quite crazy to think we are halfway through the first month of 2021 already!

I would like to say a massive thank you to all of my followers who wished me a Happy Birthday on Tuesday, I had a fantastic day and celebrated it well in Lockdown Style. 

Isobel bought me a hamper which contained traditional bar snacks and two bottles of beer, it was so unexpected and a massive surprise to open up, I can’t wait to try some of the treats that are packed into the hamper, especially the beer!

Today, is a very special day for me, it’s my Birthday, so I thought to myself it was only right for me to share a post to you on a absolute magnificent beer that I tried over the weekend!

My birthday this year, I will admit is going to be a strange one, I can’t be with Isobel, I can’t go to the pub, I can’t go out for a Birthday meal, instead I am just going to be at home, and enjoying a couple of beers with my mum and brother.

Hello Saturday, its a massive pleasure to see you once again, I mean in my eyes this whole week to me has just flown by ever so quickly!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely week, it’s not been too bad for myself, I’ve been doing a lot of walking, but I am missing not being able to work under the current conditions!

I am still unable to work, and in my eyes, I am feeling the pain for all of those small pubs and micropubs which are sadly unable to open during this time!
