We’ve had sunshine, thunderstorms and rain, the lightning on Tuesday night was absolutely crazy in my hometown.
Now, though we can forget about the horrible weather and look forward to a fabulous weekend coming up.

Happy Whisky Wednesday to you all, it’s halfway through the week already, just 2 more days to go and then we will be into the weekend, let’s hope it hurries up!
I’ve got a tremendous treat of a post today which is focused on my first ever whisky I’ve ever sampled in my whole life.
Monday is once again back around, if only we could just rewind the clock back to Friday night again, sadly we can’t!
I do hope though you’ve all had a tremendous weekend and enjoyed spending some lovely time outside in the sun.
You may well remember in my last ale review post, I studied a tremendous beer which you can check out here Titanic Plum Porter.
Now, I thought it was only right to my next post on the brewery where this marvellous beer is brewed.
Happy Whisky Wednesday!
However, this post will be slightly different from other posts and I will admit that this will be a slightly longer post than normal.
Today’s post is on The Summerton Whisky Festival
Happy Tuesday Morning everyone, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, my main focus was to do loads of blogging and to promote my new website and it turned out to be successful.
Let’s move on to today’s post!
Normally I don’t tend to buy canned ales from supermarkets but on the other hand, when I was in the Sainsburys Local a couple of weeks back, I came across this pale ale in a very artistic look can.
Today’s post is on Neck Oil Session IPA which is brewed by Beavertown Brewery
Now, you’ve got to admit, there is nothing better than a lovely and small rustic-style country pub.
I mean they just fill you up with pure joy, excitement and it provides you with that happiness feel that you’re in such a fantastic place.
That’s what today’s post is on, a perfect and adorable little Country Pub called The Green Man.
Hello to you all, I hope you’re keeping yourselves well and safe during the lockdown!
Just before I get onto the next post, I want to mention that the former ales and breweries blog has successfully been rebranded to The Cask Connoisseur – I also now have got a tremendous new website and I’ve got plenty of content posts to keep you all occupied over the next coming week.
Hello to my wonderful followers, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, I certainly did by sure (haha).
On Saturday I took part in a Virtual Whisky Festival with Isobel’s Dad, which was very fun, there was a lot of whiskies consumed, but luckily I made notes on everything.
Hello everyone, I hope you all had a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend, it certainly was a glorious one.
I was very lucky to try out some new refreshing beers that I’ve never come across before, they all certainly did taste absolutely tremendously.
You may well remember in my last post, I talked about The Uttoxeter Brewing Company which is built on the site of The White Hart Hotel, this new business has been in operation for around 2 years now and it has shown that the business is going from strength to strength.
This Microbrewery came known to me when it was my 22nd Birthday in January (2020), me, Isobel and her family (Chris, Jayne and Charlotte) ventured to The White Hart Hotel in Uttoxeter for a meal to celebrate mine and Chris’s birthday.
